Village Considering Repair Options for Shelter House in Ben Miller Park

At the Village Board meeting on Thursday, November 13th, trustees continued their discussion on needed repairs to the large shelter house located in Ben Miller Park. The structure, which is used for family reunions, church services, 4-H meetings, and other community gatherings, requires updated framing and new roofing.
The Village received one contractor bid for the project, and trustees expressed interest in obtaining at least one additional estimate for comparison. The board will continue to explore options and will revisit the project at a future meeting.
