A Little Free Library for German Valley
Since October 2021, visitors to German Valley have been able to enjoy a special community treasure—a Little Free Library sponsored by the German Valley Historical Society Museum.
A Little Free Library is a small, outdoor book-sharing box where anyone can take a book or leave a book. It’s based on a simple idea: “Take a book, share a book.” These libraries help encourage reading, bring neighbors together, and make books easily accessible to people of all ages.
German Valley’s Little Free Library was thoughtfully built by Norman Miller, a dedicated member of the museum. His craftsmanship and generosity have helped create a welcoming space for readers in our community.
The Little Free Library is conveniently located at 805 Church Street in German Valley, right in front of the Museum, making it an easy and welcoming stop for both residents and visitors.
"A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life." — Henry Ward Beecher
